Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS / BDS. B.V.Sc & All recognized by MCI / DCI / VCI respectively or BE/B.Tech degree in relevant engineering subject with 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
OR
- BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one year experience OR In Class Master degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
OR
- 2nd Class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
Desirable:
Doctorate or M.Tech degree in relevant subject or engineering subject or MD in the related subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
Additional post doctoral research / teaching experience in relevant subjects in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s).
Knowledge of Computer application or Business Intelligence tools /Data Management. Two years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualification
Note: (i) PhD or MD or M.V.Sc degree in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years experience respectively. (ii) Candidates with MD/MDS/M.V Sc or PhD or M.Tech degree will be preferred for director recruitment.
Pay Scale : Rs. 51,030
Age: Not exceeding 35 years. Relaxable upto 5 years for Government servants & SC/ST/OBC/candidates as per Central Govt. rules.
Post 2: Senior Research Fellow (Non Medical)/3 Posts
Essential Qualifications: Post graduate degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate degree in Professional course with NET qualification or Post graduate degree in Professional course from recognized university with 2 years research experience. OR First Class Master’s degree in Life Science/ Biotechnology / Biotechnology and Bio-informatics / Molecular Virology/ Molecular Biology / Serological from a recognized university with 2 years research experience in Malaria.
Desirable: Research experience in Molecular biology of malaria parasites; Vector biology and transmission of Malaria; Hands on experience in molecular diagnosis of malaria parasites, Blood meal analysis(PCR and Counter Current Immunoelectrophoresis) techniques, Research experience in Molecular Biology of malaria parasites; Hands on experience in ELISA; Field survey of infectious diseases/Malaria in any research organization or medical institution, Hands on experience in molecular diagnosis of malaria parasites, RFLP, Microsatellite markers and bio-informatic tools like Peakscanner, Arlequine, Structure, Network, POPTREE; Knowledge of Computer application; Fluency in English and Tamil.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36,400
Age: 35 years.
Post 3: Statistical Assistant/ 1 post
Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Science from a recognized university with one year DMLT course OR three years diploma in engineering (or any relevant discipline) from a recognized institution OR Graduate with one year relevant experience in statistical scientific data from a recognized Institution.
Desirable: Working experience in SPSS, SAS and R analysis is preferable.
Age: 30 yearss.
Pay Scale: Rs. 28,755/-p.m
Place of duty: The contractual staff will be posted at the project site in Chennai involving travel to field areas as deemed fit for the progress of the work.
