Q. In what year did you pass out your MBBS (Completion of Internship)?
Ans. 2013
Q. What were your MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year) ?
Ans. 67.14
Q. What ranks had you secured in any previous PG medical entrance exams you gave?
Ans. AIPGMEE 2015- rank 501, NEET 2013 – Rank 15000, AIPGMEE 2014 – Rank 5700, DNB JULY 2014 – rank 83, May PGI 2014- rank 286, May AIIMS 2014- rank 535
Q. What is the secret of your success?
Ans. Persistent Hardwork and family support in whatever I decided to pursue.
Q. How was your internship?
Ans. Internship was hectic.Could not study in my internship.
Q. When did you seriously start preparing for the entrance exam?
Ans. NEET results came late and it was august/September 2013 when I started studying seriously.
Q. How many hours did you study each day?
Ans. 8-10 hrs
Q. Which books did you read for the theory part?
Ans. Theory part I read retrospectively for most of the times and few very important topics from textbooks.
Q. Which books did you read for MCQs revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Ans. Arvind Arora for all subjects except Pathology and Pharmacology (GARG), Medicine and Surgery (Amit Ashish), Radiology (Sumer Sethi) and OBGY (Sakshi Arora)
Q. Which subjects did you focus on?
Ans. Physiology, Pathology, microbiology, short subjects, PSM, Pharmacology and surgery.
Q. What were your study methods? How many revisions did you do for each subject?
Ans. Self created notes were very much beneficial for me.
Q. What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Ans. Attempted 297 in AIPGMEE 2015
Q. Did you join any classes or test series? Was it useful?
Ans. DAMS test series. It helps to keep doing your subjects in a time-bound manner.
Q. In which field do you want to specialize in?
Ans. Radiology
Q. What is your advice to future aspirants?
Ans. Not the ideal person to tell because it took me three attempts to crack the exam but Persistent Hardwork is essential. But it doesn’t mean that u can’t have your leisure time.Just keep up to your schedule.
Q. Indian PG entrances are highly competitive, so to crack them students end up in appearing for multiple PG exams with some of them having same exam with different slots and papers , please extend your views on this and their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances.
Ans. Multiple exams are helpful in a way that we can have multiple opportunities. But considering a particular exam, it should be the same for everyone and on same day,which AIPGMEE fails to do for last three years.

When u got rank 15000 in 2013 & 5700 in 2014 did u changed ur strategy of preparation afterwards, like switching from aiims, all india previous papers’ guides to subject wise guides or vice versa or u just kept revising subject wise guides over all these years?
