Dr. Anshul Gupta has secured Rank 141 in AIIMS PG exam held in November 2013 for January 2014 session of admission and Rank 307 in DNB CET Nov 2013. He has done his MBBS from GMC, Akola.

Ans. Rank 370 in DNB CET August 2013 and Rank 5503 in NEET PG 2013
Q. What were your MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year) ?
Ans. 66 % Aggregate
Q. What is the secret of your success?
Ans. Hard work and blessings of parents.
Q. How was your internship?
Ans. Full of work load.
Q. When did you seriously start preparing for the entrance exam?
Ans. During Internship.
Q. How many hours did you study each day?
Ans. 10 hrs on an average.
Q. Which books did you read for the theory part?
Ans. All MCQ books..and a lot of books just to pass exams like Mathew-Medicine and Harsh Mohan.
Q. Which books did you read for MCQs revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?
Ans. For MCQs revision all subject wise MCQ books. Across is least productive and AA (Amit Ashish) and MK (Mudit Khanna) are useful.
Q. Which subjects did you focus on?
Ans. Medicine, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Short subjects and PSM.
Q. What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?
Ans. Strategy was to attempt all questions in AIPG and around 190 in AIIMS.
Q. Did you join any classes or test series? Was it useful?
Ans. Bhatia..yeah it’s helpful.
Q. What seat have you been allotted in counselling? Did you join?
Ans. Allotted all branches in August DNB and 1st & 2nd year subjects, PSM and psychiatry in AIIMS.
Q. What is your advice to future aspirants?
Ans. Work hard..it is the only thing which is in our hand.
