Salary:
SENIOR RESIDENTS, CASUALTY MEDICAL OFFICERS, RESIDENT PATHOLOGIST & RESIDENT ANAESTHETISTS: Rs.15600-39100( With initial start of Rs.18750/-) carrying Grade Pay Rs.6600/- + allowances as admissible as per orders of the Government issued from time to time.
FOR DEMONSTRATORS – Pay scale: Rs.10300-34800( With initial start of Rs.13450/-) carrying grade pay Rs.5000/- + NPA (for Medical Graduates only, if admissible)
MEDICAL OFFICER (MO) / LADY MEDICAL OFFICER (LMO) & EMERGENCY MEDICAL OFFICER – Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100 carrying grade pay Rs.5400/- + NPA if admissible.
Qualifications:
Senior Resident, Casualty Medical officer (General Medicine & General Surgery) & Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologists – Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./M.D.S/ D.M./M.Ch/DNB) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty (recognized by MCI and registered either with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council). If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those with postgraduate diploma can be considered.
Senior Resident (Hospital Administration) – Postgraduate Medical degree (MD Hospital Administration/ MD General Medicine). If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those with post graduate diploma can be considered.
Demonstrator and MO – MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons from Medical Institute/Faculty for Demonstrators.
Demonstrator and Emergency Medical Officer in the Deptt. of Forensic Medicine – MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)
How to Apply:
Applications on prescribed proforma along with attested photocopies of all relevant documents and non refundable application fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- in case of SC candidate(s) by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director Principal, GMCH, payable at Chandigarh and a recent passport size photograph, are invited.
The Written Test shall be held on 09-06-2014 at 11.00 AM in the College Auditorium Hall, Sarai Building, GMCH-32, Chandigarh. The list and Roll Numbers of the candidates for the Written Test will be displayed on our website gmch.gov.in. on or before 07-06-2014. The list of all Ineligible candidates will also be displayed on GMCH website. No special /separate call letters for the written test / interview will be issued. The written test of multiple objective type questions would be conducted.
The result of written test will be displayed on 10-06-2014 on our website. The Roll Nos. of the candidates, who will be called for Interview, would also be displayed on the website on 10-06-2014. The Interview of the candidates will be held on 11-06-2014 at 10.00 AM in the office of the Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital (GMCH), Chandigarh. The candidates are requested to be present at 9.00 AM on 11-06-2014 for the verification of requisite documents.
