Qualifications

Senior Medical Officer (Radiology) – MBBS with MD/DNB (Radiology); OR MBBS with DMRD
Senior Medical Officer (Medicine) – MBBS with MD/DNB (Medicine)
Senior Medical Officer (Industrial Health) – MBBS with 2 years Diploma in Industrial Health
Senior Medical Officer (Anaesthesia) – MBBS with MD/DNB (Anaesthesia)
Senior Medical Officer (OB&G) – MBBS with MD/MS/DNB (OB&G)
Medical Officer (General Duty) – MBBS

For candidates applying for posts of  Senior Medical Officer and having only post MBBS diploma are required to have 1 year of post diploma work experience. Same applies for posts of GDMO.

Job Description

All Job openings are in Medical & Health Unit, Bangalore, except one post of SMO Medicine which is in Nasik Division.

Senior Medical Officer (Radiology) – • Should be well conversant with different types of X-rays, Ultrasound Technology and CT Scan. • Should be able to read MRI studies
Senior Medical Officer (Medicine) – Should be able to manage OPD/ Wards/ ICCU cases independently and should be well conversant with interpretation of ECG, Computerized stress test and Echo-Cardiography
Senior Medical Officer (Industrial Health) – Should have thorough knowledge of Factories Act and Safety aspects, Industrial Hazardous, Statutory requirements pertaining to industries.
Senior Medical Officer (Anaesthesia) – • Should be able to independently Anaesthetize for major and minor surgeries and attend emergencies. • Should be well versed with ICCU procedures including ventilator  application.  • Should be able to provide post anaesthetic care including supervision of the area (ICU, Wards) monitoring (Including clinical observation), pain relief, fluid therapy, respiratory therapy, adverse effects which may be related to anaesthesia, preoperative medical problems.
Senior Medical Officer (OB&G) – Should be able to manage OPD/Ward Cases and perform independently minor/ major surgeries and attend to emergency in OB & G.
Medical Officer (General Duty) –  Should be able to manage OPD, Ward Cases and handle emergency cases and ICU Cases. Experience from a reputed Industrial Hospital preferred.
