Salary:
SR – Rs.18, 750/- + GP – Rs.6600/- + NP A plus other allowances as admissible under the Central Govt. Rules in identical posts.
JR – Rs.15, 600/- + GP – Rs.5, 400/- + NPA plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Age Limit:
SR – 33 years
JR – 30 years

Qualifications:
SR
A. Essential Qualification for the post of Senior Resident Doctors:
i. Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical
qualification included in the Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
ii. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital.
iii. Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
B. Desirable: Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.

JR
A. Educational qualification for the posts of Junior Resident Doctors:
(i) Medical qualification included in the Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule, of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act).
(ii) Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship.
(iii) Candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.

Important Dates:
A walk in interview will be held on 27th May 2014 (Tuesday) and thereafter on every working Tuesday till 26th August 2014 for the posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure) & Junior Resident Doctors (One-year tenure) from 11:00 am onwards in the Administrative Block NEIGRIHMS, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018
