A new notice has been published on Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) website which states that vacant seats from All India Quota PG medical counseling will not be surrendered to states on 19th, June, 2014. Notice also asks states/universities not to included All India seats in their counseling rounds. This is based in compliance of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in IA No. 15/2014 in Writ Petition No 433/2013 in Dr Fraz Naseem & Ors Vs Union of India & Ors.

Also facility for reporting online resignation will remain available till 25th June 2014 and details of Extended Round-3 of Online PG All India Quota Counseling (including Schedule) will be notified later on MCC website mcc.nic.in. So it is confirmed that extended 3rd round of AIPG 2014 counseling will be conducted by MCC.
