Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has published a notification for announcement of new revised schedule of Personal Counseling Process of PGD-CET-2014 for State Quota admissions to Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) in State of Maharashtra. This is in compliance to the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, order in IA No. 15/2014 in WP (C) No (s). 433 of 2013, dated 18th June 2014, there will be extended 3rd round of online allotment process from 25th June 2014 to 04th July 2014, under 50% All India Quota – 2014. The Vacant All India Quota seats of MDS will be surrendered to State of Maharashtra on 04th July, 2014 (After 5.00p.m.). In view of the above stated round of 50% All India Quota seats, the schedule to fill State Quota seats by Personal Counseling round will be as per below stated schedule.

Friday 04/07/2014 up-to 05.00 pm
The candidate who has joined a seat of 50% All India quota in the State of 04/07/2014 Maharashtra, and wishes to surrender, should surrender his/her seat so as to Up-to be eligible for Personal Counseling Round. [As per the rules of PGD-CET-2014 (Rule No. 14.4.1 (d))1.
Friday 04/07/2014 after 11.00 pm
Combined Display of following Vacancy:
- Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of state quota after 1st round.
- Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of 50% All India quota returned 11.00 p.m. to State Quota.
- Unallotted PH quota seats.
- Unallotted In-service quota seats if any.
- Newly created seats if any.
- Seats surrendered by Private Institutions.
Saturday 05/07/2014 up-to 5.00 pm
Submission of Status Retention Form at respective Institute. (For candidate who have Joined in 1st round) upto All the desirous candidates of PGD-CET 2014 should submit Status 5.00 p.m. Retention Form. Note: The Candidates who have filled status retention previously is hereby stands cancelled. The retention form filled on 05/07/2014 will only be considered valid for confirmation of admission and such a candidate will not be considered for subsequent admission process and such seat will not be allotted in Personal Counseling round.

Display of all seats available for Personal Counseling Round(These seats will be excluding the seats retained by the candidates by way of filling Status Retention).
Personal counseling of Maharashtra PGD CET 2014 will be held on Monday, 07/07/2014 9.00 a.m. onwards for All Eligible Candidates and Inter-se Round at 12.00 pm : If seat/s of Constitutional Reservation remain vacant. It will be held at Dept. of Physiology, Grant Medical College, Mumbai.
AS mentioned in schedule “The candidates should bring all the original documents for verification as per the rule no. 11.4 of PGD-CET-2014 information brochure. Candidates who have already joined a PG Course through PGD-CET-2014 and not submitted status retention form should bring a certificate issued by Dean/Principal of the institute where he/she has joined, stating that the original certificates have been retained by them. Candidates should note that they have to confirm the admission immediately after allotment of seat by paying Rs.1500/- in cash as admission fee and deposit all the original documents at the time of personal counseling.”
