In a letter to all states and UT, GOI has announced dates of conduction of NEET-PG 2018 exam, expected date of announcement of results, all India and state counseling start and completion dates. This announcement is for the admission year 2017-18.
Dates are as follows:
- Conduct of NEET-PG 2018 exam: By 10th January 2018
- Declaration of results: By end of January 2018
- 1st round of All India counseling: 12-24th March 2018 and 1st round of state counseling: 25th March to 5th April 2018
- Last date of joining: 3rd April 2018 (All India counseling) and 12th April 2018 for states counseling
- 2nd round of All India counseling: 22nd April 2018 and 2nd round of state counseling: 3rd May 2018
- Last date of joining: 22nd April 2018 (All India counseling) and 3rd May 2018 for states counseling
- Mop-up round: 12th May to 22nd May 2018 for deemed and CI and 4th-8th May 2018 for state counseling.
- Last date of joining: 26th May 2018 for deemed and CI and 12th May 2018 for state counseling.
As regards the in-service candidates appearing in NEET-PG is was discussed in the meeting and concluded that marks incentive could be up to 1-% per annum subject to a maximum of 3%. MCI was requested to provide amended regulations to the ministry at an early date.
