Q. In what year did you pass out your MBBS?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. 2012.<\/p>\n

Q. What ranks had you secured in any previous PG medical entrance exams you gave?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Rank of about 9000 in\u00a0NEET 2013.<\/p>\n

Q. What were your\u00a0MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year) ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. 63% Aggregate.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0What is the secret of your success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. I maintained confidence & mental stability for whole year. The day of exam is most important be calm confident and comfortable.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0How was your internship?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. It was quite heavy…I had joined dams during internship but couldn’t manage study & work…so I left DAMS.<\/p>\n

Q. \u00a0When did you seriously start preparing for the entrance exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Mid march 2013 after finishing all shit of internship.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0How many hours did you study each day?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a014 hrs study…a nap half to 1 hr in afternoon & 6 hrs sleep in night.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0Which books did you read for the theory part?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Ganong few topics, Opthalm – khurana, no Harrison, no Robbins, no Bailly & Love.<\/p>\n

Q. Which books did you read for MCQs revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Books by Arvind Arora ( pulse publication ) are good.. for surgery Pritesh Singh.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0Which subjects did you focus on?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. All short subjects, pharmacology, microbiology, PSM, physiology, Anatomy and biochemistry.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0What was your<\/strong>\u00a0strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. 7 hrs sleep must..i used to take tab zolpidem before each exam( don’t make it a habit ).\u00a0 had attempted 297\/300 Qs in AIPG…still i have no perfect idea abt how scaling & equating is done….4-5 Qs can be left.<\/p>\n

Q. Did you join any classes or test series? Was it useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. I had joined dams regular batch…i was really useful…it wouldnt have been possible without it.<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0What seat have you been allotted in counselling? Did you join?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. MD radiology at KEM Hospital at Mumbai.<\/p>\n

Q. In which field do you want to specialize in? why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Radiology…its my passion .<\/p>\n

Q.\u00a0What is your advice to future aspirants?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. First of all make your basic concepts crystal clear…while reading try to correlate topics & even subjects….silly mistakes at any cost should be avoided…most of the part of study can be covered by using FB & whats app & it will be interesting too every morning read some inspiring qoutes…listen to inspiring music when u get bore…just maintain tempo throughout the year…..u will surely get through it…all the best.<\/p>\n

Q. Indian PG entrances are highly competitive, so to crack them students end up in appearing for multiple PG exams with some of them having same exam with different slots and papers , please extend your views on this and their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. Multiple pg entrance exams are good….you will get good rank in at least one of them…probablity increases.<\/p>\n
