On 23rd Decemeber, 2014\u00a0The Health Minister, Shri J P Nadda stated following points\u00a0in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha regarding reservation for Medical Officers in PG Medical diploma courses.<\/p>\n
This\u00a0proposal of Medical Council of India (MCI) to amend the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, which makes one year rural posting at a Public Health Centre (PHC) mandatory for a MBBS student to apply for admission in a PG course, is not yet notified.<\/p>\n
Similar kind of replies have been made by previous Health Ministers in Rajya Sabha many times in past. Also it was mentioned in NEET PG Introduction<\/a>\u00a0and a notice <\/a>on PIB website.<\/p>\n
