Q. What were your MBBS percentage marks (aggregate or final year) ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Q. What ranks had you secured in any previous PG medical entrance exams you gave?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans. \u00a0AIPGMEE 2015- rank 501,\u00a0NEET 2013 – Rank 15000, AIPGMEE 2014 – Rank 5700, DNB JULY 2014 – rank 83, May PGI 2014- rank 286, May AIIMS 2014- rank 535<\/p>\n

Q. What is the secret of your success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Persistent Hardwork and family support in whatever I decided to pursue.<\/p>\n

Q. How was your internship?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Internship was hectic.Could not study in my internship.<\/p>\n

Q. \u00a0When did you seriously start preparing for the entrance exam?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0NEET results came late and it was august\/September 2013 when I started studying seriously.<\/p>\n

Q. How many hours did you study each day?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a08-10 hrs<\/p>\n

Q. Which books did you read for the theory part?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Theory part I read retrospectively for most of the times and few very important topics from textbooks.<\/p>\n

Q. Which books did you read for MCQs revision? Which revision books were the most productive and which were least?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Arvind Arora for all subjects except Pathology and Pharmacology (GARG),\u00a0Medicine and Surgery (Amit Ashish),\u00a0Radiology (Sumer Sethi) and\u00a0OBGY (Sakshi Arora)<\/p>\n

Q. Which subjects did you focus on?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Physiology, Pathology, microbiology, short subjects, PSM, Pharmacology and surgery.<\/p>\n

Q. What were your study methods? How many revisions did you do for each subject?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Self created notes were very much beneficial for me.<\/p>\n

Q. What was your strategy for the exam day? How many questions did you attempt and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Attempted 297 in AIPGMEE 2015<\/p>\n

Q. Did you join any classes or test series? Was it useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0DAMS test series. It helps to keep doing your subjects in a time-bound manner.<\/p>\n

Q. In which field do you want to specialize in?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Radiology<\/p>\n

Q. What is your advice to future aspirants?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Not the ideal person to tell because it took me three attempts to crack the exam but Persistent Hardwork is essential. But it doesn’t mean that u can’t have your leisure time.Just keep up to your schedule.<\/p>\n

Q. Indian PG entrances are highly competitive, so to crack them students end up in appearing for multiple PG exams with some of them having same exam with different slots and papers , please extend your views on this and their pros and cons of appearing in multiple PG entrances.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ans.\u00a0Multiple exams are helpful in a way that we can have multiple opportunities. But considering a particular exam, it should be the same for everyone and on same day,which AIPGMEE fails to do for last three years.<\/p>\n
