MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE (Department of Health and Family Welfare) has published a notification for amendment in the First Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). According to this amendment\u00a0Diplomate National Board (DNB – Emergency Medicine<\/strong>)\u00a0is now a recognised medical qualification<\/strong> when granted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi on or after June 2013.<\/p>\n Following\u00a0Diplomate National Board (DNB), Broad Specialty Courses<\/strong> (three years courses at the Post MBBS level) are recognized\u00a0medical qualification when granted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi:<\/p>\n Following\u00a0Diplomate National Board (DNB), Super Specialty Courses<\/strong> (three years courses at the Post MD\/MS level) are recognized\u00a0medical qualification when granted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi:<\/p>\n Following Fellowship National Board (FNB), Courses<\/strong> (two years courses at the Post MD\/MS level) are recognized\u00a0medical qualification when granted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi:<\/p>\n Note<\/strong>: – The FNB qualifications shall not be treated as a recognised medical qualification for the purpose of teaching faculty.<\/p>\n Click here to view official notification by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare<\/a><\/p>\n\n
