Andaman and Nicobar Islands Medical Education and Research Society (ANIMERS) has posted an advertisement for recruitment of doctors for the posts of Assistant Professor and Associate Professor as faculty in newly proposed medical college in Port Blair for session 2015-16 subject to affirmative recommendation of Medical Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

PG degree in respective subjects with 5 years post PG work experience for Associate Professor posts and 3 years post PG work experience for posts of Assistant Professors from a MCI recognized institute.
Higher education and experience will be compensated with additional remuneration and higher designation.
Salary
- Consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 2,00,000/- per month initially, with an inbuilt increase of 10% in the consolidated remuneration after completion of every year of continuous service for Associate Professors.
- Consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 1,75,000/- per month initially, with an inbuilt increase of 10% in the consolidated remuneration after completion of every year of continuous service for Assistant Professors.
- Free furnished accommodation appropriate for designation/ status will be provided. Employees not availing furnished accommodation shall be given additional remuneration @ Rs. 18000/- per month for Associate Professor and Rs. 16000/- per month for Assistant Professors.
- Candidates will also be considered on deputation from Central, State and defense establishment on pay scale and other emoluments as per similarly placed candidates in AIIMS, New Delhi.
