Recruitment of Senior Residents at AIIMS Bhopal

The online applications are invited from Indian citizens for posts of Senior Residents for the tenure period (3 years) in the following departments at AIIMS Bhopal under Govt. of India Residency scheme.

AIIMS

The reservation (OBC: 27%, SC: 15%, ST: 7.5%, OPH: 3%) will be on total number of posts sanctioned.

  • Candidates may kindly take note that for the post of Senior Residents in the department of Biochemistry both Medical as well as Non-Medical candidates can apply if the post is advertised.
  • For other departments only medical candidates can apply.
  • The number of vacancies may increase / decrease.
  1. Pay Scales: i. Senior Residents: Rs. 15,600-39100+GP 6600+NPA

Non-practicing allowance will be admissible to candidates possessing MBBS qualification.

III. Essential Qualifications:

  • A MCI recognized postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
  • For the post of Pulmonary Medicine a MCI recognized Postgraduate medical degree viz. MD in Medicine or MD/DNB in Respiratory Medicine from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Candidates with DM/MCh in concerned specialty will be preferred in Neurology / Neurosurgery / Burns and Plastic surgery.
  • For the post of senior resident in Dentistry a DCI recognized postgraduate dental degree viz. MDS in Prosthodontics / Periodontics / OMDR from a recognized University/Institute.
  • For non-medical candidates in Biochemistry and Pharmacology (if advertised) o The candidate should possess M.Sc Degree in the subject concerned and o PhD in the subject concerned/allied subject from a recognized University/Institute.

 

  1. Eligibility:
  • To be eligible for selection for these posts, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination by 30.06.2015 & result declared to this effect on or before this date. The tenure of qualifying degree should also be finishing latest by 30.06.2015

 

  1. The candidates who are in service in any Govt. Hospital/ Institutions are required to submit their application through proper channel only.

The candidates will not be permitted for Interview if they fail to produce no objection certificate on the day of interview during scrutiny of documents.

If it is brought to the notice of authorities at any stage that the candidate had not submitted application through proper channel, then candidature will stand cancelled and in case of selected candidate, services will be terminated immediately

 

  1. Upper Age Limit as on the closing date of submission of application (25th November 2015) :
  2. Upper Age Limit: 33 years, relaxable for SC/ST candidate up to a maximum period of 05 years, and in the case of OBC candidates up to a maximum period of 03 years.
  3. In the case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates, relaxable up to maximum period of 10 years for General Category, 13 years for OBC category and 15 years for SC/ST category candidates.
  • For those applying for these posts after completing DM/M.Ch courses, the upper age limit on 30.06.2015 will be 35 years. The age limit is further relaxable for SC/ST candidates, OBC candidates and OPH candidates as above.

 

VII. Application Process: On-line applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the aforementioned posts at AIIMS Bhopal on substantive basis.

VIII. Application Fees:

  • For OPH candidates: NIL
  • For General/OBC candidates Rs. 1,000/- plus transaction charges as applicable
  • For SC/ST candidates Rs.800/- plus transaction charges as applicable
  • Fees shall be paid on-line at the time of submission of application form.
  • Fee once remitted will not be refunded.

 

  1. Last Date of Application:

The on-line filling up of application form will automatically close at 5:00 pm on 25th November 2015.

  • Congestion of system may occur during last hours. The applicants are strongly advised not to wait till last date of submission to avoid rush and submit the application well in time.
  • The application will be considered only when it has been duly submitted by pressing submit button. After making payment you shall download the application form submitted by you by clicking on the Download the application form. The candidate shall take print of the application form and bring at the time of interview.
  • Inadequately filled / incomplete applications may be summarily rejected.

 

  1. Documents:

Printed copy of the on-line application form and the self- attested photocopies of the following along with the originals must be brought at the time of interview only

  1. ‘No Objection Certificate–NOC ’for those who are working in Central/State Government / Semi Government, autonomous institutions from their respective organization.
  2. Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificate, Experience certificates and qualifying degree registration with State Medical Council. M P state medical council registration is mandatory before joining.

XII. Reservation:

  1. OBC Candidates will attach certificate issued by the competent authority in the form prescribed for Central Government jobs along with certificate that the candidate does not belong to Creamy Layer. Date of issue of Certificate should not be earlier than one year of closing date of application.
  2. For SC/ST-Certificate should be issued by Tehsildar or above rank officer in prescribed format.
  3. Criteria for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped:
  • The candidate must possess a valid document certifying his/her physical disability is conforming to judgment of Supreme Court of India i.e.: “With the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India vide letter no. 18018/2/2009-ME(P-1) dated 17.02.2009.
  • Candidates with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% shall be considered and in case candidates are not available of such disability in the category, then the candidates with disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will also be considered as per decision in the Writ Petition (Civil) 184/2005- Dr.Kumar Sourav Vs. UOI & others in the Supreme Court of India.
  • The disability certificate should be issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent / CMO /Head of Hospital / Institution.
  • The Medical Board issuing certificate shall conform to guidelines of Ministry of Social Welfare and Empowerment (Govt. of India).

 

XIII. Selection procedure:

  • Interviews will be held at AIIMS Bhopal. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
  • The joining of the candidates will purely be need based. The selected candidates may also be asked to join on different dates. The remaining candidates selected in the interview shall be kept in the list which will be valid till 31-12-2015.
  • Any vacancy arising because of non- joining by selected candidates in this selection or by resignation of candidate who had joined after selection will be offered to the candidates from the waiting list according to their merit.
  • All information pertaining to this advertisement including date of interview, result, joining
  • No individual intimation may be sent by AIIMS Bhopal to applicants. It will be the responsibility of applicants to keep abreast of the developments by visiting website regularly.

 

General Terms & Conditions:

  5. Private practice of any type is prohibited.
  6. He / She may have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the institute.
  7. He / She is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as framed by the institution from time to time.
  8. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
  9. In case any declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to his appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
  10. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.

Recruitment of non-PG linked Junior Residents at AIIMS Bhopal

 

  1. The online applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the posts non-PG linked Junior Residents at AIIMS Bhopal.
  2. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal is an Autonomous Body established under an Act of Parliament.
  • The ONLINE APPLICATIONS are invited from Indian Citizens for the posts of Junior Residents (non-PG linked) for January, 2015 session in in the pay scale of Rs.15,600 – 39,100 + GP 5400/- per month plus all allowances including NPA, in the prescribed format and on the terms & conditions given in detail on Institute website . Last date for online submission of application for these posts is 25th November 2015 (by 17:00 hrs).
  1. Number of Posts and reservation:

Out of 52 posts advertised two posts of Junior Residents are for Dentistry department for which BDS degree recognized by Dental Council of India is essential qualification. The competent authority of AIIMS Bhopal will allocate the departments as deemed appropriate. The Junior Residents may rotate in departments including Community & Family Medicine, Rural Health Center postings, Tele-medicine, Tele-Health care and non-clinical service departments etc.

 

  1. Essential Qualification:
  • The candidates should have passed MBBS/BDS (including completion of Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by MCI.
  • MP State Medical / Dental Council registration is mandatory before joining.
  • Those who had joined Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at the AIIMS Bhopal and whose services were terminated on account of unauthorised absence or any other disciplinary/ground, will be ineligible to be considered for these JR (NA) post even if they otherwise qualify.
  • Maximum two terms (of 6 months each) are allowed. If anyone join and leaves at any time it will be counted as one term irrespective of duration of work.

Experience in Army Services, Central Health Services, Private Nursing Homes and Private Practice will be taken as equivalent to Junior Residency (Non-Academic).
