Posts & Essential Qualifications:

SENIOR RESIDENT :
Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain – M.D. in Anaesthesia OR equivalent P.G. degree. Candidates who have passed D.A. exam with one year post D.A. experience may also apply. They will be interviewed if there are vacancies. They will be considered for JR-III. Note: CPS DA candidates are not eligible.

Radio-diagnosis – M.D. in Radio-diagnosis OR equivalent P.G. degree. Candidates who have passed DMRD exams may also apply. They will be interviewed if there are vacancies. They will be considered for JR-III.

Radiation Oncology – M.D. (Radiotherapy) OR equivalent P.G. degree.

Medical Oncology – M.D. OR equivalent P.G. degree in the Medicine OR Pediatrics.

Bone Marrow Transplantation [BMT Fellow] – DM OR DNB in Medical Oncology / Haematology OR MD with 3 years experience in Medical Oncology / Haematology.

Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging – D.N.B. OR M.D. in Nuclear Medicine.Candidates with PG diploma will be considered for the post of JR-III if a post remains unfilled.

Preventive Oncology – M.D. in Community Medicine / Preventive and Social Medicine / Obstetrics and Gynecology; OR Masters in Public Health / Masters in Health Administration. If adequate numbers of suitable candidates with above qualifications are not available, then candidates with MBBS and Diploma in Public Health / Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology with minimum 2 years experience in Preventive Oncology will be considered for JR –III.

General Medicine – M.D. (Medicine) OR equivalent P.G. degree. Candidates with training in echocardiography will be preferred. In addition to routine general medicine duties, will be required to work in speciality clinics of cardiomyopathy clinic, HIV cancer clinic, cancer thrombosis clinic.

Pathology (Surgical Pathology) – M.D. OR equivalent P.G. degree in the respective specialty.

Cyto-Pathology M.D. (Pathology) OR equivalent P.G. degree in the respective specialty. Candidates who have passed D.P.B. exam with one year post D.P.B. experience may also apply. They will be considered for JR-III. [Post M.D. experience will be preferred]

Gastroenterology & Endoscopy – M.D. (Medicine) / Pediatric OR equivalent P.G. degree in Medicine / Pediatric.

Transfusion Medicine – M.D. (Path) or equivalent P.G. Degree OR M.D. (Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion) OR M.D. (Transfusion Medicine)

Palliative Care – M.D. OR equivalent P.G. Degree in any of the Clinical Specialties

JUNIOR RESIDENT :
Transfusion Medicine – MBBS and experience in blood banking preferable

SENIOR RESIDENT (SURGICAL ONCOLOGY):

Breast Oncology – M.S. (General Surgery) OR equivalent P.G. degree. Minimum 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology after basic qualification is preferable.

Thoracic Oncology – M.Ch. / DNB Surgical Oncology OR M.S. (General Surgery) OR equivalent P.G. degree. Minimum 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology after basic qualification is preferable.

Gastroenterology and HPB Oncology – M.Ch. / DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology OR Surgical Oncology OR M.S. (General Surgery) with minimum 1 year experience in Oncology.

Head & Neck Oncology – M.Ch. (Surgical Oncology) OR M.S. (ENT) OR M.S. (General Surgery) OR equivalent P.G. degree with minimum 1 year experience in Head & Neck Oncology is preferable.

Bone & Soft Tissue – M.S./DNB (Orthopedics). Minimum 1 year experience in Orthopedics after basic qualification is preferable.

Uro-Oncology – M.Ch. OR DNB (Urology / Surgical Oncology)

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – M.Ch. / DNB (Plastic Surgery) OR M.Ch. (Surgical Oncology)

Paediatric Surgery – M.Ch. (Paediatric Surgery) OR M.S. (General Surgery) OR equivalent P.G. degree with minimum 1 year experience in paediatric Surgery after basic qualification is preferable.

01 YEAR TMH FELLOW :
Neurosurgical Oncology – M.Ch./DNB in Neurosurgery OR M.S. (General Surgery) with experience in Neurosurgery preferable.

Skull Base – M.Ch./DNB Surgical Oncology / Head & Neck Oncology / Neurosurgery OR M.S. (General Surgery/ENT) with 1 year experience in Head & Neck Oncology / Neurosurgery.

Molecular Pathology – D.M. (Medical Oncology) OR M.D. (Pathology) with 1 year experience in Onco-Pathology.

Cytology – M.D. (Pathology) with 1 year experience in Onco-Pathology / Cytology.

02 YEARS HBNI FELLOWSHIP :
Breast Oncology – M.S. OR equivalent P.G. degree with 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology.

Thoracic Oncology – M.Ch. / DNB Surgical Oncology OR M.S. (General Surgery) with 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology.

Gastroenterology and HPB Oncology – M.Ch. / DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology OR Surgical Oncology OR M.S. (General Surgery) with 1 year experience in Gastrointestinal Surgery.

Bone & Soft Tissue – M.S. / DNB (Orthopedics) with 1 year experience.

Uro Oncology – M.Ch. OR DNB ( Urology)

Dental and Prosthetic Surgery – MDS in Prosthetics and Crown and Bridge.

Onco-Anaesthesia and Pain – M.D. (Anaesthesia) OR equivalent P.G. degree in the specialty.

Critical Care – M.D. General Medicine, Chest Medicine, Anaesthesia, Pediatrics OR equivalent P.G. degree.

Cancer Imaging – M.D. (Radio-diagnosis) OR equivalent P.G. degree.
Interventional Radiology – M.D. (Radio-diagnosis) OR equivalent P.G. degree.

Radiation Oncology (IMRT, IGRT) – M.D. (Radiotherapy) OR equivalent P.G. degree and 1 year PG experience in the Subject.

Pediatric Oncology – M.D. (Pediatrics) OR equivalent P.G. degree in Pediatrics.

Preventive Oncology – M.D. in Community Medicine / Preventive and Social Medicine / Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Infectious Diseases & HIV Medicine – M.D. (Medicine) OR equivalent P.G. degree.

Digestive Oncology – M.D. (Medicine) / Paediatric OR equivalent P.G. degree in Medicine / Paediatric.

Palliative Care – M.D. OR equivalent Postgraduate Degree in any of the Clinical Specialties.

Haemato-Pathology – M.D. (Pathology) OR equivalent P.G. degree.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – M.Ch/ DNB(Plastic Surgery)

Salary:
Fellowship (H.B.N.I.) – Rs. 50,000/-p.m. – Rs.52,000/- p.m. (Stipend)
Senior Resident – Rs.50,000/-p.m. – Rs.56,000/-p.m. (consolidated)
Junior Resident – Rs. 40,000/-p.m. – Rs.44,000/- p.m. (consolidated)

AGE LIMIT: 40 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC). Age may be relaxable in case of exceptional merit qualifications, special needs for the development of the Department.
