A report by Deccan Herald states that “According to sources in the Medical Education department, preparations are on and the counselling might begin in the first half of the week.”
Delay in counselling this time was due to case filed in SC regarding domicile candidates. Karnataka govt had only allowed students who have domicile from state of Karnataka will be allowed to appear for counselling, but SC allowed non domicile candidates who have completed their MBBS from Institutes in Karnataka to appear for counselling.
