Director of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has published a notification for announcement of schedule of Personal Counseling Process of PGM- CET – 2014 for Maharashtra State Quota admissions to Medical Postgraduate Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) in State of Maharashtra (excluding PH candidates).
Seats which remain vacant after 3rd round of 50% All India Quota seats will be surrendered to state Quota and will be included in personal Counseling Round.
Schedule is as follows:
Friday 20/06/2014 Up-to 5.00 p.m. Candidates who have taken admission in State of Maharashtra through 50% All India Quota and wishes to participate in personal Counseling Round in state should surrender their seats before this date. (Note: Any candidate who cancels All India Quota seat after 20/06/2014 will be penalized as per rule no.19 of PGM-CET-2014 brochure.)
On Saturday 21/06/2014 After 5.00 p.m. there will be combined display of following vacancies:
- Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of state quota after 1st round.
- Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of 50% All India return to State Quota after 19/06/2014.
- Unallotted PH quota seats.
- Unallotted In-service quota seats if any.
- Newly created seats if any
- Seats surrendered by Private Institutions.
On Monday 23/06/2014 upto 5.00 p.m. Candidates who have been allotted and joined the seat in 1st round of MH PGM CET 2014 Counseling can fill up status retention form to retain the seat.
On Tuesday 24/06/2014 5.00 p.m. there will be display of all vacant seats which are available for personal Counseling round (excluding seats which have been retained by filling status retention form by the candidates).
Schedule of Personal Counseling Round which will be held at Dept. of Physiology, Grant Medical College, Mumbai is as follows:
[table id=24 /]The candidates should bring all the original documents for verification as per the rule no. 12.4 of PGM- CET 2014 information brochure. Candidates who have already joined a PG Course through PGM- CET 2014 and not submitted status retention form should bring a certificate issued by Dean/Principal of the institute where he/she has joined, stating that the original certificates have been retained by them. Candidates should note that they have to confirm the admission immediately after allotment of seat by paying Rs.1500/- in cash as admission fee and deposit all the original documents at the time of personal counseling.
