All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released an notification for recruitment of doctors for posts of Senior Residents for tenure period of 3 years as per Govt. of india’s residency scheme for the session July 2014 at the AIIMS, New Delhi.
Posts: Posts includes existing vacant posts, backlog vacancies of Sc, ST, OBC and those posts which will fall vacant between 01/07/2014 to 31/12/2014.

Important dates:
Candidates can apply for posts in the prescribed format available on AIIMS website – www.aiimsexams.org, www.aiims.ac.in and www.aiims.edu from 26/05/2014.
Last date of application is 25/06/2014 up to 5 pm.
Salary: Rs. 18,7500 + 6600 (Grade Pay) + NPA plus other usual allowances.
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC and 3% for PH.
Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate medical degree viz. MD/MS/MDS in the respective disciplines from a recognized university/institute.
Upper Age Limit: 33 years with relaxation for reserved candidates.
35 years for DM/M.Ch courses with relaxation for reserved candidates.
Selection process: An online written examination of 80 marks based on MCQs in the subject concerned will be held on 13//07/2014 (sunday) in Delhi/NCR only. Exact time and date will be posted on admit cards which will be made available on AIIMS website.
Results of exams will be published on 15/07/2014. Interview will be held on dates mentioned as in official notification.
